We are picking up more Department 56 activity on the Forum, so why not combine your D56 product announcements and Club activities to this thread.

The Halloween season is getting closer than we think. Are you planning a Halloween layout this year. If yes, tell us about it.
Should be fun to see your input for a quickly growing segment of the hobby industry. D56 has greatly increased their listing of Halloween related items. Their latest catalog is chocked full of listings.

We will Craig, But for Christmas layouts during the Christmas season, that would be an exception. Besides, not all Christmas layouts use Department 56.

Just curious - with almost 300 threads in this forum, why is it causing a stir to have one thread shared? Every thread has a name and you can skip over whatever you want, and just read the "important" stuff.. What am I missing ? Curious & confused |

I see no issue having dept56 with the trains here. If it has something to do with dept56 and you rather not read about it, just pass it by.
I have dept 56 buildings and accessories so I can understand if you don't want to read about it but my layout is 24-7-365 Christmas all the time. I'm always looking to put more dept56 buildings and accessories on my layout. But remember I also have trains and I post about trains and respond to posts about trains.
I think we are big enough to include dept56 along with the trains here.
