Well, I see Bill's TVC site has transitioned to a fall itinerary, including a reminder that it's time to start thinking about what, if any, holiday displays are contemplated. Not sure what we're doing, but best to start contemplating. TVC

Stumbling around in Walmart this AM, I see they've got all of the Christmas stuff out. Picked up this mini-sized ceramic house for a couple bucks: We used to put a few of these on the mantel each year, but haven't for awhile. Might need to drag them out and see what can be done with them.

With Halloween 2024 in the books and Thanksgiving being a non-decorating event, thoughts begin to turn toward the annual Christmas display. Until the wife chimes in, almost anything seems possible . I'm always on the lookout for "new" ideas, and a friend of mine sent me a link to this; it's terrific: The Village of Make BelieveLast year we had just a simple 42-inch loop around the tree with a few ceramic buildings. Maybe a second level this year...

Although I will probably have 3 layouts.

I look forward to a few pics come December! You'll get more than pics. I always video my gardens and post them on my YouTube channel. This years challenge is I purchased several new sets since last year and can't decide which of them will make the featured spot. They are all very special sets.

I was over to Lowes, Kohls, Walmart, and Michael's...didn't see anything from the ceramic lines that struck my fancy. I'll take a trip down to Valley View Farms to check out the Dept-56 offerings; if I don't find anything there, might look at the secondary market on eBay and Etsy. Really don't need anything for the limited space I have, but always fun to look around.
