Rules
Our Founding Members desire was to make the forum rules as simple as possible, no red tape. Here are our rules:
1. Profanity of any kind is NOT allowed. Any member using profanity on the OGF will be immediately removed from the roll permanently.
2. By design, the OGF caters to the o-gauge community. Individuals who collect other gauges are free to join the OGF but it is recommended that their posts center around our members and/or o-gauge topics.
3. We totally support the celebration of our members birthdays, weddings, births, etc. They are highly encouraged, so feel free to post news about our O-Gauge Forum members. Unlike some other model train forums who take a somewhat different position, we go out of our way to support these activities.
4. Falsification of any new member registration information is grounds for immediate removal from the OGF.
5. In the spirit of friendship between the members of the OGF, no member is permitted to start a thread or post any comments that are unprofessional or inaccurate about another member. First violation of this rule is a warning, the 2nd, removal from the OGF.
6. The OGF is desirous of protecting membership information and we restrict it’s use strictly member to member.
7. Any member who shows no forum activity within twelve months (12) will be removed from the membership roll.
8. POSTING of COPYRIGHTED PHOTOS AND OTHER MATERIAL FORBIDDEN
You represent and warrant that, when participating on this Forum, You will obey the law and respect the intellectual property rights of others. Your use of the Forum is at all times governed by and subject to laws regarding copyright ownership and use of intellectual property generally. You agree not to upload, post, transmit, display, perform or distribute any content, information or other materials in violation of any third-party's copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights. YOU SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VIOLATIONS OF ANY LAWS AND FOR ANY INFRINGEMENTS OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS CAUSED BY YOUR USE OF THIS FORUM.
