After reading this entire post all that can be seen is the free and open exchange of ideas and opinions. You won't find that elsewhere. As for Lionel's price it comes down to a simple formula. If you like it you buy and if not you walk. Right, And a cursory glance at MTH and Atlas will show they are also BTO and the MTH runs are smaller than Lionel’s . As for prices, Lionel’s prices are comparable to MTH and Atlas for similar items. |

As some of us pore over the Lionel Vol 2 2024 catalog either literally or figuratively the YouTube Catalog Reviews have begun to pop up some much sooner than others. For those of you who watch these catalog review videos do you find them of value? If so which ones? I generally find these catalog reviews much ado about nothing of value; not even entertainment with the exception of the crazy fast review that rockymountaineer posted here a few days ago. Any good YouTube Lionel catalog links that you would recommend? |

Any good YouTube Lionel catalog links that you would recommend? Among the expected sales pitch, I find the initial Ryan & Dave Lionel video the most informative in terms of back story and item highlights cosmetic and functional. Their usual followup Trainworld live feed is a bit more showbiz but still worthwhile as the opportunity to ask questions exists. Other than that not really which is why I asked hoping that I was missing out on good information.

Not a bad catalog for me.

I'm going to skip the tank car, I'm not a fan of the 8,000 gal tank cars even though they are scale. The AEC and Area 51 heavy duty flat cars GLOW IN THE DARK! Cool!
