I know prices are up but I am very curious on what Lionel is going to release tomorrow. I know the Vision line Class A is number one on my list... The Lionel Website did not have any introduction to the new catalog tomorrow and no countdown? Just the last catalog shown.
what is the difference between the Class A and an Allegheny ? Just looked at the catalog and the Class A is interesting, But that is about it. My favorite is the Christmas section, This year it's just a rehash....

These Bobbers are back... I may need one for my shay.
For that price I hope they are the MTH ones.
I have a couple from MTH and they are nice, Then again I paid somewhere in the $40 range.

Just thumbed through the new Lionel catalog. While there is some nice stuff illustrated and I can certainly afford buying anything there, the prices are just more than I wish to pay. Am I the only one, not seeing value there?

Just read the entire catalog and all I can say is wow!! It is huge with a lot of products I can't afford. But there are a few things on my radar that I really like.
The 3 small legacy steam look interesting but the one that may really get me is the ES44ac Armed forces locomotive. Looks really cool and being ex military it looks really interesting. Now if Lionel can get the paint correct, I'm in!!!! Maybe!!

I have the original. It is very popular with visitors of all ages, but especially the kids. Go for it!

On the positive side, at least we still have a catalog from Lionel. You can’t beat seeing all in one shot what’s coming down the line during the next year or so. It helps plan the discretionary spending.
Ask me in a week, and I’ll probably decide the one or two items that will ultimately call my name from this catalog. Not a lot for sure… but I’m sure some damage will be done. 😉
