And in the meantime, I bought an engine today!
I'll bite, what is the engine? Ooops!! I got distracted and forgot to mention it. I ordered the MTH Premier Napa Valley RS-11. I have all the K-Line Napa Valley winery cars they made in the 1990s, But I never had anything to pull them. Back then I made a horrible attempt to paint a K-Line semi scale set of Alco AA diesels to match. So this locomotive will fill that void perfectly. Now I need to get a caboose. No one made one for Napa Valley in O that I could find.

That sounds like fun. We used to spend a fair bit of time in Napa after we got married. My parents lived there. Never got a chance to ride the wine train. It saw it all the time.

The K-Line cars are freight cars they sold separately. I do have the Lionel scale Napa Valley Wine Train too. I’ll have to run them together on parallel tracks!

I would like to attend York sometime butt its an 8 hour drive for me. Then I would have to go and see the horse shoe curve on the way home. We do the same twice a year- 9 hours. In the fall with the Penn State game, sometimes its impossible to find a hotel. We spotted this bad boy at the curve last year. Key is to find and ride with others!

Rick, many of us have a long drive, 9 hours for us as well. But it is well worth it.

It's 14+ hours at best (no SNAFUs) from Vero Beach. Heck, it's 3+ hours to the Florida/Georgia State line.
I'm hoping to go in October 2021.

It's a 9 1/2 hr drive for me. Just over 10 if I avoid the tolls. I've been trying to find a ride mate but so far a no go. Andra went with me one year but not sure I'll be able to convince her to go again. October York is up in the air for me.

Just read a post on one of the O guage sites on Face Book, October York may not happen😥. Just like here in Tampa, fair grounds may not open. They canceled our big Tampa show that was in June because the fair grounds are staying closed, so far pretty much through all of summer.
