Only way I’ll be going is if Strasburg has another 611 style event with another big steamer. Otherwise can’t justify the expense of going. Last few times it was just anticlimactic for me. But with that said I hope it happens and all have good time.

I normally can't go in October, but if we don't do as many marching band competitions, I may be able to make it! Fingers crossed!

Hi there. Gary and I hope to be at York this October if everything goes well. Maybe we will be allowed to cross the border safely by then. It sure would be nice to see you again and meet some more forum members too!
Take Care,
Cheryl.

Thanks, Eddie! I needed that.
Let's hope that there is a York Meet in October, 2020.

I am not a pessimistic person, But I am beginning to think that we might have to wait till next April for the next York, sad. My 90th birthday is April 27th, and I will have to spend it by myself because of the virus. We had big plans that are no longer.

I have type 2 and asthma so it's a double whammy for me. Oh well.
I am hoping to be able to go the York in October 2021. It's a big trip from Florida. I was really looking forward to the National Convention in Jacksonville but I'm thinking that will be cancelled. Oh well.

October York may be a bust. There are allot of people with pre existing conditions that will not want to risk getting sick. I have never missed a York, but knowing I have asthma, and prone to severe pneumonia once a year, touching trains and being bumper to bumper to people in the blue hall who have not bathed in a bit, does raise up a red flag. I hope there is more information on how to fight this virus by then so we can be better armed with preventative measures!
