Have to order today some last minute needs for the new layout. String lights from Evans Design, and garland to dress-up the tops of the apartment buildings that serve as the backdrop. Boy, the new tops for the backdrop are terrific. Quick look at where I was at yesterday. I agree with Adam if there was one word to express this, "WOW! You did good Brian.

Went to the annual club picnic and meeting. After stuffing ourselves we had a short meeting then ran trains. A club member that's moving to Florida had this RailKing EM flat car with trailer for sale brand new in the box. Well next thing I know I'm buying it. If I keep doing this there's no reason to go to York. 😁 Attachments:

Denny, nice acquisition. If you don't go to York, just think of the travel you will save, and be able to spend locally; but you'll miss all the fun and friends. Alfred

I like seeing friends from the forum and friends I made there. I'll be there in October. Sadly the only train store here closed years ago and the closest one is in another state.

Just picked up the M & M gondola from Menards. I'm going to try
and connect it to the M & M handcar.....
The figures are solid plastic. This car is heavy for what it is...
I had to add weights to the front of it. But it worked....
Well I added traction tires to the hand car. Yes the wheels normally do not use them but they fit.
I ran it on a loop of 072 fast track for about 3 hours. I'd say it's a go.

I have not bought any trains or train stuff in months. I am just lately starting to think about my Halloween train garden and plan to start the build in about 3 or 4 weeks.
