My old favorite B & O / Chessie switcher
Chessie is my favorite road name. I have that same switcher.

Decisions, decisions - which of these galloping greys will be on a powered instead of a display track? The answer is BOTH once the track is up again - soon.

My brand new Lionel North Pole Central LionChief Plus 2.0 Pacific #1224 was on the track for about an hour. Had to take it off and send it back to Charles Ro because the smoke unit was making a very loud and unpleasant noise. I've been patiently waiting for them to ship the replacement but nothing yet. The Christmas Garden is all done but I don't want to start making the video until I have my new train. Things are getting close. If I don't have the new train by Monday or Tuesday I think the Canadian Pacific will be making another appearance...

I received the Lionel SD90MAC today. I have to say it surpasses my expectations! I think it is a beauty. Attachments:

Christmas Train on the Tracks!! The General style steam engine is Christmas to me because the first train that Santa brought me was a General. This model I bought last year and is a very early MTH PS1. It doesn't have proto-sounds, but it is a solidly built Conventional engine and I got it for a good price.

Nothing like Southern Pacific daylight, Dave Agreed. The cab forward in my display’s “Daylight Corner” will definitely see Christmas service:
