My brand new Lionel North Pole Central LionChief Plus 2.0 Pacific #1224 was on the track for about an hour. Had to take it off and send it back to Charles Ro because the smoke unit was making a very loud and unpleasant noise. I've been patiently waiting for them to ship the replacement but nothing yet. The Christmas Garden is all done but I don't want to start making the video until I have my new train. Things are getting close. If I don't have the new train by Monday or Tuesday I think the Canadian Pacific will be making another appearance... Well I am back in business. My replacement train was delivered yesterday. Unboxed it and tested. Works great! A big shout out to Charles Ro for making it happen so fast. They are a great company to deal with. Now I am working hard to finish getting my video completed and posting to YouTube. Once that's done I will share with the OGF. Looking good so far.

Dec 23: I made a try at videoing a train run – by sound reckoning with my speech-enabled phone. After a few attempts, my wife said that this run was OK. Running is a Lionel 2328 Burlington Route GP-7 (1955) with Lionel Silver Series cars 2533 (1952), 2532 (ca. 1955), 2531 (1952) - (Silver Cloud Pullman, Silver Range Dome, Silver Dawn Observation). The 2533 and 2531 were given to me by my uncle, and were my first trains, along with a 736 2-8-4 Berkshire. Alfred youtube.com/shorts/4_j_bBudvHg

Fun train run Alfred. I really like your classic layout and tubular track. I prefer tube track as well.

What’s on the tracks? – in my case, no trains. I’ve been busy doing layout and wiring modifications. What have you been running? Alfred

I've been running the two Trump Train freights on the lower main and an Amtrak passenger train on the upper track for a few months and thoroughly enjoying them but finally got the urge to change things up. I'm now running all New York Central, Railking PAs pulling Williams baby Madison cars on the upper level and Railking green cigar band E8s pulling Railking passenger cars on the lower level along with a LionChief Plus Hudson pulling a fast freight.
These are not the best pictures. I tried to get each whole train in one photo.

Country Joe, nice passenger consists - thanks for the description. As for me, have not been up to the layout for a while. Will do so soon; also waiting for repaired operating cars to be available. Alfred

Since I had got a couple Williams rolling stock out for the Williams thread, I decided to put some more of my traditional rolling stock on the rails along with a WP GP7 Lionchief engine.
