One thing I started doing 35 years ago was taking junk plastic boilers (think clamshell motor blocks) using the main rods for new front coupler mounts on 675's, and the somewhat detailed backheads were cut out and glued in. I think that 0-6-0 has such. I suppose I should put up some photos of the coupler mod.
When we did the modules with LOTS, my buddy and I would haul all our NP stuff down. I'd put two 675's on the point, another 60% back in tonnage, another on the tail, lock E-units in forward, and run 60+ car freights around and around and around.

This is as we were laying the new yards. The switch at lower left now connects to track on left. Outer main. North yard throat. South yard throat. Switch machines not in yet, signal foundations not sunk yet or wired. This is how the foundations look when sunk and no scenery yet. Yards get sprung Caboose Industries throws, mains get Tenshodo, Kemtron, whatever machines under the benchwork.

Spent the afternoon working on my upgrades to 42nd Street. The more I get into it, the more ideas that pop into Elizabeth's head. Ordered some special products that should greatly enhance this scene.
More on this later.

Great beginning to that main street Lehigh! There is some real estate development happening on the SE&C. Working with some Korber pieces. I started weathering with some chalks on the right side. Got it a little heavy in a couple places; will try to go back and tone those spots down.

Cleaned up the Christmas Village and started prepping for curbs and sidewalks. Will post pictures later, can't do it via phone As promised: The MTH house is almost a direct copy of my actual house. The long driveway with the roadrunner in it is a close replica Christmas Village at night Attachments:

Thanks guys! Joe - yeah, I've been wanting to do a gray brick building just for some variety. Now I need to decide if I want white windows or gray. Spice - great looking scenery. The mountain and trees on the right look Great!
