I've added some rough ground cover in a few areas.
I cut some clear plastic packaging to make bases for people. I glued the people to the bases with Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue. I like this better than gluing the people to the scene.
I also glued clear plastic bases to the Jug Band and placed them in the gazebo.
I need to find some O scale chairs with people so they can have an audience. Right now they are playing for their own entertainment.
That's it for now.

I use clear plastic for bases for grazing cows, didn't think of doing that for the people.

Love the Gazebo and the band, Joe. Thanks Brian. I got the gazebo at Michael's last Christmas season. It's made by Lemax. The band is from Woodland Scenics.

Joe that is a neat way to do figures. This has been a week of promotion. Rich built three sand towers last week after which he repaired the damaged turntable that the tornado hit. Included in that work was placement of ROANOKE letters on each side of the Turn Table. He did a great job with both projects. In recognition of his success, the Chairman promoted him to construction superintendent and placed him in charge of construction of two Diesel Maintenance buildings that will be a part of the Roanoke Shops complex. He has been busy and today completed one side wall. The time has arrived when level two track needs to be properly wired. Crews have completed all tracks in the steam section and stub, roundhouse, and turntable entry/exit tracks, must be able to be powered separately. Just imagine a power incident that allowed engines in the Roundhouse to start up and run toward the rear of the building. That could be bad (and almost was). So, a new track power terminal block has been wired onto the right side control board and twenty relays have been installed in addition to the separate lighting relays that were completed last week. Wires have been run to the AIUs that fire the new relays and today three tracks were completed and can be controlled separately. This may not make a lot of sense to some but Mark understands. Progress continues.

Excellent progress Bill. The lettering on the turntable looks great and identifies it as N&W.

About a year ago I mentioned how I support my "little people, scooters and motorcycles", by gluing small pieces of clear plastic on their feet and wheels and hardly detectable. What a coincidence, just last night I had some new figures painted and decided to write an article for next Traction Mag. Took pictures, finished writing article just hours ago.
I open up the Forum and now have to scrap and think of another article. LOL, good job Joe.

Joe, the plastic bases do work out very nicely!
Bill, that is some mighty fine work Rich did on the turntable and the new diesel building. The power board looks great!

Walt, I think you should submit the article. I just showed what I did but didn't explain how I did it. While most figures are pretty easy to do some are in awkward poses and don't stand up easily. Plus showing how to get things like bikes and motorcycles to stand up while the glue dries would be very helpful. My last though is that my post will soon be buried by newer posts. A month from now it will be very difficult to find, but your article in TE will be readily available to everyone forever.
