Checked out the fit of all side walls and the concrete (wood) beams then welded (JB) the rest of the roundhouse side walls. Tomorrow plan to complete the side walls.

Cleaned the Train Room. Ran to Lowe's and got some 2x4's to start the addition to the layout after months of sitting on my butt about it. Now you know why I had to clean the room! Now I am ready to hunker down for the next few weeks here in Massaschusetts.
Please everyone, stay healthy, pratice social distancing.
Also, take time now and prepare if God forbid anyone in your family comes down with the bug. In a bag place your med list and a cell phone charger. So you can communicate with family and friend.
These are unprescedented times.

Frank and Don, you got a lot done. The embankment is really growing. Finished the last and right roundhouse walls. Rear is next and it looks complicated. Will weather and touch up paint when all walls are done. Prefer to do at the same time. Yes, it has windows, lots of them. I think 90 or so.

I'm now working from home for the foreseeable future, like many of us here. While I'd trade everything I own (including my trains) to make this awful virus go away for all of us, there is a silver lining: a reason to be at home, and time to work on my layout. Each night after work I pick a small project, work on it to completion, and call it quits. Tonight I finished working on and installing 2 switches for passing sidings. I'm going through a major redo of my layout, and I promised PTC Brian that I would start a thread to document the progress, which I will do in the coming days.

Did another few feet to the embankment. Spice7, Your flats look great along the walls and the embankment is filling in nicely. Will you make it look like grass or color it dark?

Thanks Wood. Flats may stay on the left side. Right side is more narrow and that is the gate to my shop. I would like to color the embankment with some grass towards the mountain and more browns by the Jenkins Valve.

Tank car. Probably a 2555, but repainted, relettered for Warren, scale Atheran trucks, Athearn dummy couplers and boxes epoxied to bottom of beam. Cut and popped the boxes off (paint good underneath), unscrewed the trucks, dug out some PT-1 trucks and clips, now it's in my tank train. I have a bunch of similar glass-beaded (the tanks always rust...that's why five bucks at shows), black, sequentially numbered in Northern Pacific. I have one three dome (given to me), and one two dome (somewhere...done in Great Northern Fuel by a friend) and for some reason a plastic one on a shelf (6045 Cities, if I recall). I'll get a photo of the string and this new one later, but have this one as-delivered: I think 11 or 12 total. This shows a couple of the NP tanks behind one of my All-Trols, just because the photo was easy to grab.
