Brian, maybe it will be the Only Great Flavors ice cream shop?
George, I'm looking forward to seeing the scenery you will create.

This is technically not layout work, but I replace the smoke unit fan on my CN GP9. The screws are really small so I put a white sheet on the floor so I can see where they fell. Unless they fall in that lost screw dimension never to be seen again.

Denny we just put a magnet on a car and run it around the layout. I am amazed at the good stuff that appears. We keep it stacked in a pile and once in a while find out what a piece is for.
Like you’re white sheet idea and will ask Paula for an old one to use.

Glad it is only, “A little bit.”
Looks fantastic. Is it your layout or at the club?

Nice looking work JEFF! I do like using the tippi foam cutting hot knife. Not much mess with it. Is that the new MTH water tower that come down remotely with sounds?

Continuing from my last post above, here's a wider view of what the under layout really is! Lots of bad benchwork (which was never meant to be seen) to deal with!

It's an older MTH water tower. Didn't have sounds. Went full circle with this one: I added a sound module, didn't really use it that way, now gutted it and cut a channel right into the back of it and fit it around a 2 by 3 support column of the layout! Did the same with the MTH switch tower.

Pennsy484 I really like the rubber stone wall. It reminds me of where I grew up. I tried to replicate it with embossed paper and glue but I may go with the rubber wall as well.......

Jeff, you are developing a wonderful scene. There is a lot to see. I especially like how the station sits lower than the platform and track. Excellent work.

Jeff this looks great. Thanks for showing the progress as you did it.
What do you use for your streets? Who sells the walls?
Thanks
Bill

Not so recent but here is a video of my new layout under construction. Currently I have most of the track laid for the outside loop. You can see my old layout by checking out my Youtube channel listed in my signature.
