absolutely nothing! am in thinking process on how to go forward with the live water scene to tie it all together yet be able to remove main parts in case the tv goes kaput! The time you are spending now, thinking things through, will pay off in the future if something goes wrong. If you plan ahead so you can get to the TV to replace it and it will probably outlast you, but if you don't plan ahead it will not only break down but it will break down at the most inconvenient time.

Today I made my second loop. So now I can run 2 trains (conventional or bluetooth on both tracks)

The layout is looking good, Joe. Two trains running makes for lots of fun.

had to take in saw blades to be sharpened get back coming Thursday. the one on table saw now for whatever reason wants to send wood/foam sideways so am going to toss it. I was able to get the 6"wide x 8' long foam attached to the tv blue foam and it is now straight across so when I lay the flat piece of foam top on it it lays flat all across it and I was able to cut the wood upright supports for that as well and added a foam brace against opposing wall to hold foam up and level.
next up when saw blades in hand will start cutting the foam board to block off the underside of benchwork and tracks this will be removeable as I will glue metal contacts and use the adjustable door magnets so if a train derails or the one switch in there has issues can gain access to repair and or replace it. then I have 4 tunnel portals to create using the pink foam board would like to get the 3 tunnel portals needed all on 1 piece of foam board be a challenge for me as it serves the upper 2 mainline tracks as well as the mainline and engine service track lead plus acts as a wall to block off the underside of benchwork. the 4th tunnel will be a breeze as its pretty much a double track portal that can snuggle up to a separate foam piece.
tammie has switched gears as a ex-cancer group member that our daughter was a part of 5 years ago asked her to crochet some doll hats for her as she is trying to sell dolls dressed up as Christmas gifts so the farm area is on hold!

We are waiting to pick up some accessory interface units at York so we can complete the level one wiring. Mr Muffin will have them for us.
While waiting, we are continuing to run different locomotives and engines to be sure that they can run anywhere on the layout. Today we found an articulated that can’t go thru a Y without derailing. It is the first problem that we have had with this turnout. Tomorrow I plan to adjust the track and turnout to give a straighter entry to the Y. The same engine went thru the 8 track yard without a problem so it looks like it can handle properly installed turnouts okay.
So what did you accomplish on your layout today?

Not a darn thing today, but I was daydreaming about it while working.

JDaddy, That is a total WOW. Very well done. The rock striations are superb. Great modeling. I've gotta see this layout.

Making good progress. Here is what 3 trains running on a 4x8 layout looks like. The upper loop is still a bit rough, but running nicely. arypinski.smugmug.com/Choochoo/i-R3Bx3sh/ALike I said, running trans is my favorite part of the hobby and three trains is three times the fun! I always liked the 4-4-0. Thats a fun video to watch. Ditto!!
