And she is done. Really impressive Lego model. It is almost as long as the ping pong table is wide. I’ve never seen a Lego model with this much detail and size before. So who won the timing bet? Good question. She finished it in about 4 days. I lost, thought she would be done sooner, but she slowed down a bit after day one. 4 days is still impressive though!

As we start the new year and just before we start taking down the Christmas tree here is a shot of this years tree. A funny thing happened this year. Our kids actually started to take interest in the Department56 buildings. So, our tree is a little bare from what is usually under the tree. However, I am not unhappy at all because for the past 10~15 years or so, neither of the kids had any interest in trains, Department56 or really another "family tradition" that my wife and I think is important. It was a older, wiser man who said, just give it time, they will come back... Hope that makes sense. Charlie
