The Peanuts Display on Lehnertz Ave is also very nice too... Spot lights are on each of wooden displays in the yards on the street to view at night. Christmas lights are on the street polls along with speakers to play Christmas Music. After walking the street with Gracie, I took her to a store, which allows dogs, to walk her more inside to wear her out since she was going to be cooped up at home for the rest of evening. A elderly women, came up to Gracie to pet her. Gracie is very personable. The women asked me some questions about Gracie. I think Gracie made her day! The evening we had a beautiful dinner with some friends at their home. We got home at 11 pm and went to bed to allow Santa to come!!

Gracie's favorite spot under the Christmas Tree. Jumps over my trains when I leave them them there. I usually remove the trains at the end of weekend but it has been work in the past few weeks. For Gracie it is game and fun to go under the tree and jump over my trains. If the trains are running, she does not bother them. Gracie is next to the tree stand and trunk in the photo above.

How to keep a Lego loving teenager occupied over their Christmas break? Have Santa bring them the Lego Titanic. This 1:200 scale ship has over 9,000 parts. Sophia has gotten very good at these more complex sets and when she is determined she can be in the basement for hours at a time. The bet in the house for how long it will take her to compete ranges from a couple of days to a week. We will see.

Now that the hard work is done, Santa’s workers have donned their street clothes (still red apparently) and are headed out for some revelry at The Elf and the Pint!
