How to keep a Lego loving teenager occupied over their Christmas break? Have Santa bring them the Lego Titanic. This 1:200 scale ship has over 9,000 parts. Sophia has gotten very good at these more complex sets and when she is determined she can be in the basement for hours at a time. The bet in the house for how long it will take her to compete ranges from a couple of days to a week. We will see. 9000 Lego's! That is a set! I remember as a child I had a few space sets that I got for Christmas that kept me busy!

Adam, your daughter has a lot more patience to do a project like this than I would ever had.
Please show us this project when completed.

Santa deserves a break today after a very successful Christmas Eve and night.

Tell me about it Brian, I couldn’t do it either. Her mom has the same determined trait when it comes to puzzles. Anyway, one day in and she is about at the halfway point.

What 4 of our 8 Grandkids found when they awoke at our house on Christmas morning. This is just half of it.

It is 4th Day of Christmas out of 12 Days. Today we got our 1st measurable snow fall in the Chicago area. One of longest droughts without snow into late December. Gracie loved playing in it at Daycare today with her other friends...

Dogs typically love snow. Gracie sure shows this well. So do Bailee & Cooper.

And she is done. Really impressive Lego model. It is almost as long as the ping pong table is wide. I’ve never seen a Lego model with this much detail and size before.

A bit late to the party. Not much room here in the apartment but made it work.

Absolutely gorgeous Christmas Tree, and we are still in the Twelve Days of Christmas so you are certainty not late.
Thanks for the post.

A bit late to the party. Not much room here in the apartment but made it work. The twice around the tree track layout is always a lot of fun! Nice tree!
