There is a Cavalier in our future. More when Harry sends pictures. It cleared Vicky’s quarantine yesterday.

Nice pics Rick!! Great purchases! Everything is coming along very nicely. I see you have the Lionel Coal Tipple too. We found one NIB at Nicholas Smith Trains our last time there.

Great additions to your layout, Rick. I love Menards buildings. I wish I had room for more of them.

My favorite one is the fire station. It reminds me of Emergency the tv show

I haven't even seen these additions to my collection yet because they've been shipped to a place I'm not allowed to "shelter" in for the time being. But anyway, despite being a passenger car enthusiast, I'm a sucker for historic decorated boxcars, and I found some advertising photos of the models.
These are K-Line decorated boxcars. I already have the other SP one which depicts the "Apache Trail' and went for the Golden Empire too. The other two are self-explanatory:
I think that the below was a nice special MTH run only for Pat's Trains and represents old barn art of a kind I can still vaguely remember from childhood road trips out east and down south:
I have to say it's really nice to see that this kind of car can still be produced although I'll only know when I see it whether it comes up to K-Line's standards.

HB, those are some very attractive billboard reefers. Great additions to your fleet. 👍 Ah, NOW I know what to call them! Many thanks. (I think I did know but, like most things, I simply forgot.)
I do like the weathering/duplication of the wooden surface underneath, which is a feature of the Apache Trail car.
