It has been over a month since anyone acquired something??? Here is a picture of the smoke collector that arrived from Harry last week. Who else has spent some of their covid $$$ on trains?

I been looking for items to add, but haven't seen reasonable items yet. Looking for Chicago Northwestern Doodlebug, A Budd car I can re-do, a 2-8-0 NYC and Santa Fe F3 in Blue freight colors. Must be MTH PS3 or if PS2 the 3 volt boards. So far nothing reasonable for sale but still looking while my stimulus is gathering interest.

I did order the Railking Imperial Trump Train but that won't be in until September. With no train shows or train stores open I haven't made any unplanned purchases.

Gary and Cheryl, that certainly is a beautiful, long, 6-wheel-trucked diesel locomotive, undoubtedly with many great features. I like it. But I’m sorry to have to correct harborbelt in his thinking that somehow, this is “the SUPREME BEING of all model diesels,” when it’s really Lionel’s TMCC Santa Fe Warbonnet F7 ABA set. I thought everyone knew that. 😂😂😂

Who we got the EVO from, Tom Belfoy at The Toy Train Workshop, does have the C.P. version as well. He wants $1200.00 CDN for it. That's roughly $816.00 U.S. Our EVO was $970.00 CDN or roughly $650.00 U.S. We have told him we were interested in the C.P. version. We'll see what happens. The EVO is the Number 1 Freight Diesel made!! Gary.

Vern, those TMCC SF F7 ABA Warbonnet's are pretty!! I am partial to our PRR VL 5 stripe 'Pedes though. Two powered AA units with stereo sound in both engines. Fantastic!! Gary.

One of the best diesels ever produced in O-Gauge, Gary. That EVO is special, Gary.

I got my CP version MIB at least 6 years ago and it was more than your dealer is asking. They are also getting hard to find or at least from a seller you can trust. Thing that pushed me over the edge was that these are die cast with a range of features that I doubt we’ll ever see again in a 3rail O scale model.

Again, the EVO is a huge, awesome-looking loco with lots of features and it may be “One of the best diesels ever produced in O Gauge . . .”
But “The EVO is the Number 1 Freight Diesel made?”
Does that mean that more O scale model railroaders like the EVO more than any other diesel locomotive, or that more EVOs have been sold than any other diesel locomotive? And if so, how do we know this? Just wonderin’. 😉
