Thanks Joe! The G&W cars were hard ones to find. The SP car just came along at a good price…

During 2005-6 I renewed interest in my Lionel trains. I built a layout and bought equipment through the big online service. I suspended work until recently. I traded some of the items I bought last month for a Lionel 627 GE-44 and a Lionel 2328. I have gotten a chance to run the 627 with a tank car/ hopper/gondola consist - works well - no motor issues. I ran the GP-7 Burlington with 2500 series cars - coach, dome and observation - worked extremely well. Now fixing up the layout.

PTc, I too am content with the equipment I have. Since I am now earnestly getting into the hobby, I have not had an opportunity to run all the different combinations of locos/engines and rolling stock that I have. Am almost to that point; I have to make a few more tract connections. Alfred LOTS RM-6862

Don’t think I shared this here yet. Picked this beautiful Lionel B&M Bay Window caboose about a month ago. Found it on trains.com. I’m a sucker for this classic B&M color scheme though I think Colors are a bit off, too bright. I still like it though.

That's a really nice caboose, Adam. Its a very attractive color scheme and looks like it matches your B&M engine. It's a sweet acquisition. 👍

They are nice. How long are yours, Craig? I wish they made a version that was a bit longer, but not scale length. I think the real ones were 85’ long. Something along the way of 17-18” would be nice as a “scale model”…

Thanks Craig. They are spectacular looking! I have seen the one actual NYS&W Budd RDC. It was heavily vandalized last time I saw it. I used to run three Metro North RDCs on the old Port Jervis NY to Suffern NY shuttle some 35 years ago. One was ex NYC and the other two were ex New Haven. Do the models run well in multiples? Tom

“Do the models run well in multiples?”
The lead unit in my set is powered by two motors, the other three units are non-powered. The set runs great together.
