We are so fortunate to have attracted some of the best modelers in the O-Gauger hobby. Andy sure is one of them.
His photos are magazine quality. Shoud soon be an upcoming CTT front cover article.

Thanks Brian. I don’t know about a magazine, I’m just having fun. I don’t think they would want a first timer on the cover.

Andy, I don't think it matters if this is your first layout. It's the quality that counts and yours is top notch.

This is really outstanding! The photos alone would make for an excellent step-by-step book. Keep em coming.

wow Andy, I wish I had that kind of space. I notice I have some of the same books in that list from Keller's website.

Andy, the Long Island Coal Company sounds like a neat operation. The turntable and water tower look fabulous. Is this how your layout is right now?

The turntable looks great. I had to go back to the layout diagram to see that you will have a second layer of track under the other end of the point to point layout for turning the consists, along with some yard storage space. Very creative.

Joe, no I have some more pictures until I get to present day. I started to build some structures, and some road work. Thanks Wood. The staging really saves me. I have four staging tracks that are about 10' long each. Alternately, if I want I can just turn the train, and bring it back to Oyster Bay.

That is quite a collection of books filled with information on the LIRR. You are doing it right. I like to say I "render" a scene, You are clearly trying to "replicate" the scenes. This has become very interesting and I keep looking forward to your progress.
Nice job on the loading dock. Looks pretty exact to what you would expect.
PS: I sure like the pictures you post. Lots of looks at the scene or structure. Very helpful.
