Andy, I don’t know how I missed all this, but the building is really something! Your furniture/tool building in miniature is certainly above average too!
If you need more details, train orders, notices and bulletins are often creatures that reside on the walls of railroad buildings. Telephones or block lines were common too.
I started on the railroad when most of the buildings were old and had character. They have been replaced with modern, sterile structures that are actually depressing. Your building has certainly captured that “feel” of the good old railroad.
Great work!
Tom

Andy, the details in the section house are fabulous. The only thing left to add is a few railroad workers. 👍

You’re right Joe! Any suggestions as to which brand or company? I don’t have a single figure on the layout, I need to change that.

Try metalfigures.net. They show in the Silver Hall at the York Meet. I think they are the best in O-Gauge.

Andy, Have not had the chance to catch up on your project. Like you said on page 12 - Life got in the way. Reviewed the last 4 pages and all I can say is "Great work". I love modeling, it takes a lot of time, but who cares... You are clearly achieving some nice results. The details are the cat's meow. You will be the only one who knows the extent of your work, but once again, who cares.
Thank you for sharing your work and looking forward to the net steps.

Andy, I would suggest Arttista and Woodland Scenics. Arttista makes a wide variety of metal people, animals and details. MB Klein carries a good selection. Woodland Scenics sells plastic figures and details in sets of 6. they are usually a little cheaper than Arttista and are also good quality. I have both Arttista and WS figures and details on my layout. I would give Arttista an A+ and WS an A rating.
I also have figures from Bachmann and Model Power. Both of these are plastic and good quality, but not quite as good as Arttista and WS. I would give these two a B to an A- rating depending on the figures.
Scenic Express, Model Tech Studios and Metalfigures.net also offer figures that look good but I don't have any and can't give a recommendation. They offer figures not available anywhere else so I will probably add some in the future.
