The signals look super. Believe it or not, I don't remember LIRR signals. I know I saw them many times, and I've been a train guy my whole life, so it's odd that I don't remember them.

Wow Andy, that looks terrific. The signals will be a positive addition. A layout has to have signals to replicate the real thing. Would you please describe this picture. I wish you had put it in as an attachment so we could zoom in on the detail. _ And, what are the small cones in the yard area?

Andy, your ballast looks fabulous. Ballasting is tedious work but you are doing outstanding job.

Thanks Wood! The picture you are asking about is the control board for the signals. I will take a better picture and post so you can zoom. Can you provide more information on the little cones you mentioned? Not sure if you mean the dwarf signals? Thanks Joe, tedious work but worth it I think.

Thank you to both Brian and Brian! I wanted the yard to be a standout feature. I think it's about 27 feet long. Plenty of action will take place there!

Andy your yard is pretty much the size of my layout. Looking great and looking forward to seeing action when completed.

Andy, I like your choice of N Scale Ballast. Looks better than O Scale.
Gary.

I think I recall when you first started this project. Love those signals! What brand/model are they?

Thanks Brian, means a lot coming from you. Thank you RJ. Gary that is O scale ballast. Brennan's Better Ballast from Dennis Brennan, find it here brennansmodelrr.com/products/brennans-better-ballastVince, they are from Custom Signals. Terry Christopher is a great guy to work with. Here is his link: www.customsignals.com/index.phpWood, as you requested, here are a few pictures of the signal control board, and you can see the signals change their aspect when rolling stock is detected in the next block.
