I had hoped to start the annual Christmas Village over the long weekend but that didn't happen. However, late this afternoon I was able to attach the legs to the plywood and move my makeshift table into the living room. Over the course of the next few days the 2023 Christmas Village will come together. I have a few new accessories and some ideas on how to arrange things. Boy oh boy this is going to be fun!!   |

I have a suggestion, Adam. Remove the straight sections from the ends and add them to the sides making the oval narrower and longer. Having the track right on the edge of the table would make me very uncomfortable. I’d worry about trains falling to the floor.

It is 95% there. Still some areas I want to improve and some batteries (small watch type batteries) in some of the accessories I need to change. I am happy with it so far!   Attachments:
