Yes, I am very partial to this choice, but the facts are the facts. Go back to the late 40's when Lionel introduced the model train world to the Sante F3. The rest of the story is history. I believe that the Sante Fe F units have outsold any other livery for F Units. Got one, please post your photos here.   |

Maybe that's the most popular, but to me the best of the best are the B&M 4266 and 4268. And I am glad you forced me to look these up. Look how glossy their finish is!!   |

This thread only address the most popular (by sales). If MTH came out with a high gloss set of B&M F units, I would be on them instantly. I have to suggest to Andy. I bet it would be a great seller. Happy you found the glossy photos of them

Although the colour scheme is plain jane....I'm a fan of my hometown CB&Q F units!
Choice B is Western Pacific
Choice C is the venerable
B & O....
