Great stuff! I’m slipping more and more into the chunky tinplate world myself. So far a 390E with a caboose and stockcar have followed me home. They came with a bunch of track and the remnants of a signal. That was followed a while later by a Lionel 33 passenger set in rough shape. I have the 390E back in one piece and the 33 in pieces. See how this starts? 😉 Dave

Dave/Firewood sent you a message. I have 2 390E's one prewar and one remake by MTH for Lionel. Be careful the tin plate building might bite your interest also LOL my motor power right now is three 402's ( one is an 402E the other are manual direction) two #10E's two #8E's and two 390E as stated above.

I made one mistake in my statement, the Yellow boxcar also is prewar. When Lionel produced these, they stated "These engines can pull 20 large freight cars" I believe it, as it takes no effort for it to do the seven I have behind it. I have 84" curves and I can get it flying around them. I slowed it down as didn't want it to jump track.

I bought this fantastic D56 St. Paul’s Cathedral 6 weeks ago at a thrift/antique store for about half of what they go for on the bay. I’ve upgraded one of my church areas with it. Wonderful detail. I really love the stained glass windows.
