As a fan of the SF you made a great choice. Although I own quite a few of SF engines I have yet to get some F units. I hope to find one in the near future, hopefully at a fair price.

That is a very attractive engine, Adam. It runs nice and smooth and sounds great. 👍

I had purchased a Lionel 125 Whistle Station(1951 version) and a Lionel 145 Gateman (1953 version) a few months ago, and have just completed the final installation on the layout. I have wired them in parallel on two 153 controllers connected to a Lionel 1034 Transformer (ca. 1954). They will activate simultaneously when a train is in the Northeast part of the East Loop and/or when a train is entering/ leaving the Covered Bridge in the Central Loop. (The Gateman is near the Covered Bridge on the Southside, and the Whistle Station is in the Northeast area of the layout. ) In the event I am running a diesel engine, I can switch off the Whistle Station and sound a horn instead; if both steam and diesel are in action on the two independent tracks, then both horn and whistle will operate. Adam, Congrats on getting the SF F3 in freight livery. I have yet to get something in the SF blue and yellow. The horn sounds good and they got the train movement/ crossing signals right. Enjoy. Alfred

This is standard gauge and it's dual motor, and measures out at 17.5" long
Produced between 1923 - 1927 so it's between 96 and 100 years old and it still runs. Right now I have a friend replacing the wheels and going over it so it will last another 100 years I hope.

Another Standard gauge building. This one is from 1938 - 1942. Missing the hedge that goes from one set of steps to the other following the line of the grass.

Am I the only one buying? Hmmm maybe I should slow down. Yesterday I bought a 513 standard gauge yellow stock car, as I had a original box for it
I do have Original boxes and cars for the 811 dark green, 812 green gondola with barrels ( original) and 814 white refrigerator car. Third shelf counting from downward.
Today I bought another #402 Dual motor. My original is still out for repairs, this one is suppose to work, we will see when it gets here.
You can see this one looks a whole lot better than the other one.

I may have mentioned this before but at the Allentown show I picked up a MTH RK scale MP15 switcher in MKT. A wonderful engine at a great price and a quality unit. The build quality is amazing.
I judge a Product by how well do they build a lower cost item, Mth did a fine job.
