That's a very nice loco, Tom. While I am primarily a New York Central fan I have a soft spot in my heart for the Pennsy. My uncle worked for the Long Island Railroad when it was owned by the PRR.

Thanks Joe. I actually just acquired two NYC steam engines! A K-Line scale Hudson and a Lionel Mohawk.
The Pennsylvania seemed to be everywhere...so did the NYC! Lol

MTH did a great job on the CP Christmas train. It looks great on your layout, David.

Well I have so many DCS engines it would be hard to choose. But I would have to list the UP DDX40A or the UP Coal Turbine. Both are huge. I can run the DDX40A but can not run the Coal Turbine for a couple reasons. One is it is TOO BIG and the other is I want John Will to go over it before I power it up. I bought it thru the MTH Auction and love it even if becomes a Shelf Queen. Most of my engines are MTH with a few Lionel, Williams and Atlas. I think I also have one Weaver.

Yeah that UP coal turbine is amazing. I had the Ps 3.0 version in my hands at the last YORK and decided to buy the AC-6 SP cab forward instead. I wish I had money for both...

My MTH PS2/3v PRR I1sa 2-10-0 Decapod. I found this weathered version on line... Tom oh yeah that is a keeper... try to find that one in PS3.0... kept waiting for MTH to re-release... and it never happened.

Jdaddy don't give up on MTH releasing 2-10-0 Decapod. They still own the tooling for it and say they are going to produce steamers after things settle from the changeover. Having the biggest part of my fleet being MTH, I am always confused why people say PS2/3, and that the battery was changed. PS3 has no Battery, that is the biggest difference between PS2 and PS3. They are not the same but close. I love my premiers but have to run RailKing on my inner most loop due to curve restrictions. That was why I purchased the Imperial Triplex which is awesome.

I do not know if my favorite is my Western Maryland Russian Decapod #1108 or my Western Maryland H9 Consolidation #830. Both are very nice!

I have a Western Maryland ABA Passenger set and love it. My only somewhat disappointing thing about it is the sound is not as loud as mos of the other DCS Engines. Smooth runner ad very dependable. Tonight I started my Chemical Safety NS train and the engine took off like crazy. I have had this happen before when it misses the watchdog signal. Much to my surprise that was not the case. This is the first time in all my years of owning DCS engines I had to do a feature reset. Did not fix it. Had to do a factory reset. It fixed it. I think my grandson had derailed it the last time it ran and had not been run since. Now I know why. But all is good. I love the DCS engines. Most of mine are PS3. I have a couple that have been upgraded from PS1 to PS3 and I have a couple PS2 engines that have John Wills upgrades battery in them. My Grandson has a Hudson that is PS1 that I gave him. Runs conventional and he loves it.
Mark I know you have purchased quite a few DCS engines. Had any problems with any of them? Did you purchase them 2nd hand or new?

Curtis Curtis, I have 2 DCS engines I bought new. The rest were used, most from Forum members. I have had very little trouble. The problems I have had have been user error. I’ll have a serious problem one of these days.
