Looks great Bill, thank you for the descriptions of how you do things. The photograph of Rich juggling a trout reminds me of my dad, an avid trout fly fisherman and fly tier. Dad hung up his rods when he hung up his car keys a couple years ago. Both at 90, he and Mum are in a personal care home now. We got to see them last week for the first time since the Covid mess started. They are well. I finished wiring up the limit switches on my dual lift up bridges today. No chance of crashes now. You did good. Love it.

Mark I would like to talk to you about the bridges and how you did them. As soon as this roundhouse is done I want to look at our bridge needs and how you did yours. They look really nice.

Mark Bill told me to take a look. This is very nice and it sure is an improvement over what we are using. I expect that a lot of people will be interested in learning how to do this.
Sure looks like the makings of a column to me 🙂

RJ, I decided to go with 054 curves. If I had gone with 072, the track plan would have resembled two slightly elongated circles. You noticed I do not have an OGF credential holder. I have a hat and coffee cup, but no holder. Thank you, I will ask Emile. RJ, Emile came through. I got it today!

Interior rear and clerestory lights (only 80) are installed, wired, and work. Two rear lights that are over doors are installed and work. I took some pictures and, after we got in the house, we noticed the shadows that were cast onto the backdrop. They look neat but are not what we want. Hopefully the dimmers will handle it. Sorry about the pipe on the left side that holds up the ceiling; we are so used to it that we don’t see it anymore. Next we need to touch up one place on an interior wall, then we install smokestacks on the rear roof, complete the interior, and add figures. After that is a lot of exterior touch up and then we add the front and small accessories to the building. We cleaned up around the roundhouse today. That must mean something. The crane is scheduled to be moved to the front tomorrow to assist with that assembly.

That's a big beautiful roundhouse Bill and you are doing a super job with the installation.

I had placed my backdrops on the layout, but hadn't fastened them to the wall so I could adjust the height once the track was in. Yesterday, I screwed most of the the backdrop into the studs. This covers the 'big' wall (11 feet) and the coved corners to the windows on the two adjacent walls. I only have some smaller sections to do. Now I don't have to worry about it shifting anymore. Once, we heard a boom, and I found the large section had tipped over partially knocking down some tools. Nothing was damaged fortunately.
