Made a couple twisted-wire, bristle trees. I always thought of those only for pines, but I added some clump foliage and superleaves. Happy with the result. Those trees look very realistic. Nicely done!

Plaster work and stone wall backdrop this weekend. Woah! That is going to be awesome! Did you paint those buildings up top? If so, for this build or have you used them before painted like that? Great looking, so Christmasy! And, the GCT, what's the story? Is that like TW train works or something like that? Thank you. The backdrop buildings have always been White with “Robins Egg” Blue accents. They were formerly part of the Tiffany & Company Christmas window display on 5th Avenue in New York City. “Robins Egg” Blue Is Tiffany’s corporate color so I left it that way and painted the Lionel street lamps to match before adding them to the scene. I added led backlighting and rebuilt most of the stairs, railings and rooftops. That were damaged and mounted everything on a light green sidewalk to help transition to the same color on the roof and bridges in front of and behind the GCT. The GCT is a Lionel Vision line offering and the base is by TWTrainworx (nice catch noticing that). The first section of the approach bridge is also by TWTrainworx. I’ve added the rest and incorporated ez streets that circle both upper and lower sections in a continuous loop that simulates 2 way traffic. I’ve had 6 taxi cabs, 2 sedans, 1 police cruiser and 1 van running on the loop at the same time. There’s an entire story behind the base that I’ll leave for another thread sometime in the future. Emile

Wood, this looks great. Don’t those bulbs burn out often?
Dave at Evans Design can probably do something with LEDs that you could hook up in 10-15 minutes max. I would call him, send the pictures, and he will have it to you in a couple of days including a transformer to power them if needed. (720) 361-5182 or (888) 764-2610.
I needed something from him the first of this year to replace the bulbs in the turnout lights and had them in two days. Work perfectly.
You might also be able to find led replacement bulbs at Town and Country Hobbies, (973) 942-5176. They are usually at York and have some neat lighting accessories.
That billboard is perfect to go with the hotel
Are you planning to be at York?
Emile you and Jennifer hit a home run when you found that backdrop. It’s a WOW feature.

Wood, this looks great. Don’t those bulbs burn out often? Yes, incandescent bulbs, in the first picture, burn out frequently, LED' last forever. I use www.WeHonest.net for LEDs and love the variety, price and availability.

Are you planning to be at York? Regrettably NO. I am pretty pissed off about this! I want to be with all of you. My problem, it is my turn to spend a day in the hospital for a procedure. It is not that critical but I need some tissue removed and the docs are anxious to get it done. In and Out. I will absolutely be at the April York meet!!! Here is today's progress on the hill. Base color, Latex Frontier Brown, top color Rustoleum Primer Grey let it dry overnight. Rustoleum Stone textured paint sprayed over surface and sprinkle Blended turf green over top area, mist with white glue and water. 1 part glue to 5 parts water. Done. Enlarge the picture an you will see the texture. I am pretty happy with it.

Outstanding Emile.
Did you photoshop the license plate in or did you make it and mount it on an O scale car?
