Hi GUYZ, As we come to the end of 2021, do any of you have a Train π Resolution for the up coming year of 2022?
Here are a few of the things I would like to get done for me. 1. Start putting down ballast on layout. 2. Try and improve on WSWV. 3. By more trainsβ¦.LOL!

#1 is a biggie LAZ. Very important for layout appearance. I recommend Brennanβs Better Ballast.

Reconfigure main loop, start 3rd loop, have all 3 loops running by 2023, save money somewhere so I can buy trains, find time to visit with the Detroit 3-railer's, hopefully make it to York, etc etc

1. Increase Military Funding to fight off βthose pesky Aliens!β 2. Buy only those BTO trains and Menards accessories that I can actually fit on my layout. 3. Sell off some trains (I never pay attention to this resolution) I rarely use

Great topic, Laz. I'll do my best here.
1. Hopefully, the Covid crisis will subside so that we can all get back to a normal schedule. This will allow for planned train related open house events here in Maine that have been cancelled for the past two years. We so enjoy them and love sharing our layout with others. 2. Add a Christmas related train to our Christmas in the City. I have one in mind, thanks to Ed. 3. Start and finish a renovation project at the far end of the City to add more Tall Buildings. 4. Help select a terrific NABCC 2022 Club Car for our members. Several candidates have already been submitted to the Committee. 5. A first for the new D56 Club & Forum, offer a Department 56 made accessory exclusively for our members. 6. Be part of the team under the supervision of Joe Precopia to bring our fabulous 2022 OGF Club Car to our members. It is soooo good, you may want two. 7. Secure a license agreement for a well known product that we can use for future Club offerings. I have already started to work on this. 8. Help make the OGF Foundation to be the best in the hobby industry.

Run them more. I will probably scale back on purchases.
Iβm also going to get more into wood working (always room for more hobbies). The wife and I have a few projects we want to tackle and some require some built-ins and/or furniture. Bought a couple of new tools already!

1. Finish all projects already started before going on to another one (likely to be ignored in practice).
2. Remedy my stupid undersizing of the top of my train table, which is too small for the O-72 track I have to use because I forgot that the radius is not measured to the outside rail. How DUMB is that?
3. NOT take any chances with new Lionel models (already breached because of a pre-order).

Thanks for starting this Laz, I love this type of topic because for me, it forces a little bit of accountability.
I don't have any trains in the Cue for purchase, but I do have several projects that I did start and now I need to finish.
1, Caboose project (Chicago &Eastern Illinois) C&EI that I started over the summer is now in pieces ready for primer. 2, Finish Santa Fe Work Train. Currently working on a water car (tank car) that started out as a K-line coin bank. 3, Be more active with the forum. The quality of any good forums is the member interaction and I have not done a good job of participating. I will try to change that. 4, Before I move forward with any more purchases, (Department56, Trains or Brooklin) try to focus my wants and not just acquire for the sake of acquiring.
