Bill, now be sure that this is just for local excursion runs, maybe to the City to visit one of CT Balsams Christmas Tree lots. Santa says there are and will be NO CAT towers at the North Pole. As I explained to you last week, this is a totally new engineering concept in propulsion that has been thoroughly tested by the Chinese. It utilizes quantum computer technology, it is completely green, has no batteries, and is far lighter than the outdated Berks that you charge Santa for using. It utilizes CO2 as a fuel with sterile H2O as the only output. Wikipedia can explain the difference in technology to you and the significance of replacing C with H. We just completed a deal with the premier Christmas distributor in the world and you will hear about it soon.

Okay, this is two-folds on what I added lately. For some reason I didn't realize I didn't have this UP Boxcar, when it came up at a reasonable price, I bought it. But before I add any Boxcars to my layout, they get their flooring done in case I want to run with doors open, or sitting on a siding with doors open. If they already have flooring planks engraved, easy to finish, if not, have to make my own. In this case, this Atlas had the engraved planking but in shiny black. I dismantled and cleaned with spray from contact cleaner to remove any dirt, oil or grease. Then rattle can sprayed with light grey primer, then misted lightly with Rustoleum camo Khaki. When dry, gave it an Acrylic wash of Burnt Sienna, when dry, a wash of Brown Oxide. When dry a wash of Black. I also hate these glossy undersides so sprayed that with a Flat Black. I will wait a day and give it a dirt and black powder dusting on the flooring and seal (not done yet, but thought I would show without). New addition, Atlas UP Boxcar

Great work on the flooring. It really makes the car look complete.
When I paint and decal cars, I overlook the additional job of finishing the interior. Very realistic work Walter!

Nice acquisitions guys!
I’m on hiatus from new purchases for a while. Saving my nickels for train shows and college payments.

Very nice engines Bill and set rtraincollector. I made some minor acquisitions recently, and will have to get photographs.

While helping a eBayer correct his listing I checked out his other listings. This wasn't listed under O scale but it is 1:43 scale so couldn't resist.
Seeing I model 50's - mid 70's this will fit in perfect with the tanker being parked at my farm next to the barn. I can put the other by my Red Owl Grocery Store

Please post your new tractor trailers to the Car Show thread also. Makes for a good central historic record.
