Today we remember the Fallen from all wars and conflicts. Whether it be Veterans Day or Remembrance Day. The sacrifices made by all to rid the world of tyranny should and will be cherished forever. I myself have never served in the military, however my father did, Her Majesty's 1 and 2 Canadian Guards Regiment and 3RCR,(Royal Canadian Regiment). Yes, he saw action. All through the years I was very fortunate to meet and spend time with so many Veterans and call them friends. Today WE REMEMBER THEM. For me I remember them every day as so many were and are still family friends.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

Thank you for everyone for your service to our country and allowing us to keep our freedoms! Here is a video I created a couple years ago to Honor those that have served our country with NS Veterans Unit. The background music is by Lee Greenwood, "God Bless the USA".

With the Holidays coming, lets not forget the men and women who will be defending our country and won't be home to celebrate. I started my Basic Training in Oct. 65. My Ranger Training was in December in Panama and Georgia. Christmas for 65 and 67 I wasn't home to celebrate with family. My first Christmas time home listening to WLS one night when I was home I heard this song being played. Maybe some of the vets heard this song also. A time long ago, in a place far away during the Holidays brings back memories.
