Funny backstory for the winning Car Show model. A custom model car firm in Denmark had customized a similar model a long time ago. There were only a handful of them produced. There was one of these models for sale by an English seller at a totally ridiculous price. I then talked to Charlie about doing something similar, but better.
I purchased a 1953 gold edition Buick and turned this project over to Charlie. When I told Elizabeth about painting the body black, she cringed. I waited until Charlie had worked his magic and then showed her the completed model. She went ballistic. It blew her away how beautiful it is. When it arrived in Maine and she got to see it first hand, her opinion of it only got better.
It was her top pick for the Car Show as well.

Its hard, I tried my best short of buying votes or hacking the votes, so I concede to the winner. Congratulations.

"What time is the zoom trophy presentation? Finally we will have an opportunity to meet C T Balsam. The world awaits!"
First, CT sends his warmest personal regards and wishes you and Paula a Very Merry Christmas. He attributes a super 2020 Christmas season to all of the publicity you have given him over this year.
Perhaps you missed it, but the owner of the Best in Show 1953 Buick Skylark insisted that the trophy go directly to Charlie Tucek who customized this spectacular model. The owner went on to say this model would have never been chosen without Charlie's work. The shipper picked up the trophy immediately following the completion of the voting by the OGF members and it is on the way to Charlie. So there is no photograph of CT presenting the winning trophy at the owner's request
I am sure you will be pleased that there is a very happy ending to this story.

In other words, C T didn’t bother to show up. Obviously there was a cover-up. He didn’t need to present a trophy, he could have driven the car onto the platform and spoken to the crowd , thanking them for their business.
Paula just said that he is probably, “With his shotgun toting friends and babes at the backstreet bar where his friends and the babes hang out.” Certainly he doesn’t have to worry about meeting customers at that place.
Undoubtedly Mayor Trustworthy is right there in the melee.
It was a nice car show. You might want to get away from this guy and concentrate on a better class of people.
Our brothers and sisters from the great state of North Carolina have experience with a profiteer like C T. Edward Teach was a courtroom dandy who used to sweep women off their feet. He was welcomed at the state capital when it was located at Bath. He would sail right in on the Queen Anne’s Revenge any old time.
Edward was welcome at the governor’s home just like C T is with his honor the mayor.
Eventually Edward went too far and met his demise at Ocracoke at the hand of Robert Maynard. Lt Maynard docked in Norfolk with Ed’s head on the bowsprint.
Words to the wise, likely to remain unheeded.

Clem "Shiny" Roadster and the entire CCCC Car Show Committee wish to thank all for such a successful Car Show event.
Mayor Trustworthy noted the Car Show brought hundreds of folks to the City for this event and the City's many ships and restaurants had a banner day as a result. The City's Police Department reports that not one single incident was reported and that there officers had a wonderful time as well who were assigner to this show.
Thanks all for making this a wonderful OGF event. We shine with innovations.
