The 1947 Chrysler Woody sedan is one of the nicest models to have EVER come out of the Brooklin factory. But, included in the ten finalist are many stunning models. The show entrants have made it very difficult for you to pick a winner. That's as it should be for any really good car show. I see this contest coming down to the wire.
Please keep the votes coming.

Adam and I question the inclusion of the 1954 Bel-Air. Yes it is a nice car that someone (Charlie?) has detailed to almost perfection. But rules are rules and this car is incomplete. It has a big unsightly hole in the side. We officially protest the inclusion of this incomplete vehicle. Brooklin Models is quite clear as to the rules governing contests that include their vehicles. Here is a proper model. Adam if this doesn’t work, I have another idea so don’t give up. Remember the Y6B win for the good guys.

The Buick skylark gets my vote, can't say I ever saw one in person but it sure is attractive.

If not, we get the lawyers involved.

Excellent catch, Paula. But the photo that was used for this contest was an early version. The owner of this car noticing the missing mirror went to the Brooklin Factory (true story) and they were nice enough to send a replacement at no charge. I have attached a photo to make Adam feel better. This model therefore does qualify for the Car Show.

Even though the original entry photo did not technically qualify this automobile for the competition I will allow it since it is the Christmas season.

Very generous of you Adam. Yes it is the Christmas season and the Annual CIC Christmas Car Show is off to a great start. The photos used for this contest are strictly publicity shots and are NOT part of the "Official Show Records". All Car Show vehicles have been carefully inspected by the CCCC Car Show Committee.
So let the show now continue.

I didn't take my one vote lightly. Reason I waited so long. Started out with 3 then after hour of deliberation, was able to lower my final to 2. The 2 went back and forth, studying details, reasoning for why one was better then the other. It was a back and forth until my final decision on a personal reasoning on what I liked, what I saw and what I would like to own and drive and be noticed. My vote went to the Mercury Monarch Lucerne

Excellent choice, Walter. My Dad had this model and I remember it very well. It took me a while to find it and I landed it on the eBay UK site. Not only is it a beautiful model, it is very special. So your vote is well placed.

Twenty hours (20) left for voting, so don't be left out. This is a very close contest, so all votes are important.

Now this is not the exact same car that is in the fight, but it gives you an idea why the 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible should win this contest. Clearly the most beautiful of the bunch. We need your votes!

Brooklin made the top-up version of the 1953 Buick that you have shown. I purchased it many years ago. It is indeed a beautiful model. I have plans in 2021 to modify one to make it a convertible like in your image. Elizabeth found the top down version in one of the model car suppliers catalogs. However, it was 1:18 scale. I certainly enjoy your "subtle" lobbying for the black and red Buick. Lobbying is fair game in this contest.

Paula and I would like to offer our complements to the contractor who completed the display stands. They are a real credit to Brooklin Models and represent the true spirit of the brand. Doing the job well is totally preferred to the horrible first effort that melted Styrofoam all over everything. It was a ridiculous attempt to model snow.
Remember... a quality product building a better car every day.
The 1953 Buick is a perfect example of Quality. Don't waste your ballot on something less. Vote early and often. If you have voted for something else, we request your support for the 1953 Buick. Simply change your vote.
Merry Christmas!

If the 1953 Buick Skylark was a different color I would have voted for it, I chose the 53 Olds
