Its not to late to reconsider and vote twice. Admit that you erred and all is forgiven and re-vote for the mercury Monarch Lucerne. Check out the styling, the beautiful headlight metal making it futuristic in styling and comfort. Anyone can have a Chevy, but its the person that knows styling that will be in vogue for decades to come that drives off in a Mercury Lucerne. For the single male, this car says money. For the family man this car says I'm successful. Now, what does your vote say?

Walter, I admire your campaign to bring the trophy home for the Mercury Monarch Lucerne. Only 1 1/2 hours to go.

Across state lines, the Mason Dixon Line?
Something does appear to be up, the number of votes for the Buick.
This contest is coming down to the wire but is not as close as the Santa Fa/N and W Y6B come from behind victory for the good guys. One hour and thirty-two minutes left.
Does the Chevy have a secret cabal of silent supporters waiting for the last minute when the director will rule (as he so often has leading up to this event) in favor of the in-crowd as he declares the vote to be official? Or, in other words, the fix is in but is as yet unveiled.

"What?!? Is that allowed? If so, can I vote again???
[P.S. I smell nefarious electoral intervention of the foreign kind (across state lines or the Mason-Dixon one). I did not put an emoji in this post! Infamy!!!]"
Andy, only one vote per member, but you can change your vote up until the end of balloting. And based upon your comments, I just checked and the OGF Poll function does NOT use Dominion technology. What a relief.

The voting is being carefully monitored by the CCCC Car Show Committee. No irregularities have occurred and this committee is confident that the results will be 100% legit.

Walter you have shown impeccable taste in your campaign for the Mercury. It is obviously a beautiful family car that much of America would be proud to drive.
The Chevy is nothing more than a gaudy bauble of the wanna-be Neuvo-rich who want to show off while driving a souped up rum-runner from the hills of West Virginia and Tennessee. Prohibition made the reputation of this vehicle. No telling how many still remain in the canyons of those two states where they met their final come-uppance from the revenueers.
Supporters of the Buick unite in their support for the Mercury to take its rightful second place. Down with the Chevy, the car of the crooks both new and old.

Come on and re-cast your vote to be part of winning. You know who you are. The vote that won't go past one, or 2 in favorite. Switch instead to the Mercury Lucerne and show those Buick and Chevy voters were the real beauty lies, not only under the hood, but luxury inside as well as outside. Re take a look at the current leaders, and let them think they have a lead, then cast your vote for the Lucerne and a major upset as never before. This upset will make national news front page and show those Las Vegas bettors that yes we can win even though odds look bad. Make this the biggest ever upset and you will be able to tell your children childrens, you were a part and made a difference. It very well maybe, your vote made the difference.

We all know that the true classic luxury vehicle is the Buick. There really is no other choice. Hands down the best in automobile luxury!
“Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick”

Out of all the cars in the Pink Collection, the ugliest one there is was chosen. C T hates pink and it is obvious that he was trying to pacify someone by this awful choice. At first I voted for it but finally decided that ugly is just too much to support.
I am proud to cast my last minute vote for the beautiful Buick.

Big words indeed but so heavily laced with regional bias as to render this last minute appeal inherently unappealing. I stand by the Bel Air as a true expression of the American spirit of advancement and enterprise. All Buicks ever had were more holes in the front fender.

Fun contest. Love the more holes in the front fender and American spirit of advancement and enterprise.
A local family owned a diary farm in the county in the 1960s so it was rural. In one of the fields was some trees including one large dead one. For some reason, the dead one sometimes barely smoked when the weather was just imperfect. My a Father in Law wrote their insurance.
Years later I learned that the dead tree was the entrance to the operation. Milk trucks were the perfect delivery system, even better than the fancy Chevrolet.
Never did find out if he knew about it.

And the winning entry is the customized 1953 Buick Skylark. An excellent choice.
The car owner has decided to give the winning trophy to none other that Charlie Tucek who without his beautiful customization work, this car would have not made the cut to the top ten.

There were 40 ballots handed out to the show entrants and they picked what they considered to be the top ten in the show. The CCCC Show Committee just tabulated their votes. CT Balsam arrived at the show just after the voting closed to present the winning trophy and runner-up ribbons. Apparently the 40 entrants thought highly of the Bonneville.

Big thank you to all who participated. It was a huge success.
The CCCC Show Committee has received several suggestions for the next Car Show (maybe Valentine's Day). One they really like is every OGF member can submit a photo of their favorite model. The details have to be worked out but this will greatly increase the participation and parking spaces will not place a limitation on the number of participants.
