This from a very reliable source. It seems negotiations is going very well and a announcement could be very soon. Also Mth has said that if there is no deal all the tooling will be destroyed. That could be just a negotiation ploy. But if not that would be a shame. If the talks come to a successful end and the company is sold it will be announced very shortly most likely in the next month or so.
Lets hope this goes well,
Dave

Nasty business, destroying tooling - assuming MTH owns it and has it under its own control! Makes no sense to me, and at this point I have really stopped caring whether the brand goes on or not.

Personally I think this entire retirement and closing the doors was a marketing ploy

Personally I think this entire retirement and closing the doors was a marketing ploy It’s been no joke to the dealers that have closed up as a result of Wolf’s tactics.

Why would they destroy the tooling? That makes absolutely no sense at all.

It’s Rusty Wingnut, isn’t it. You know him well and he is no Wingnut!! These theories here that it was a planned exit from his business I think is out there and not giving Mike Wolf the credit he deserves for building a great business. Lets wait before we start with all the negative comments. Dave

I agree, destroying tooling is acting like a spoiled child. Very childish and what would come out of a child mouth. Makes me have less and less respect for MTH.

Again, I never was an MTH guy. But without speculating, we’re just going to have to wait and see what happens to it.

All this speculation and rumors are just that, unfounded speculation and unfounded rumors. We don't know the whole story, so we make up our own. We don't know what has happened or is happening, yet we've already thrown Mike under the bus. Wait until the real news comes out.

I wish all the best in that someone is able to continue the MTH legacy, meaning keep MTH going.
