I actually received mine last week, but have not had the time to take it out and photograph. I like the detail, no tabs/uncoulping tacks on mine. I can add markers from Adlake if I wanted, but too many other projects in the line. I'm happy with this. Now, just need a train show where I can run some trains and show it off. Charlie

I was just running trains and had the Club Caboose following a Railking boxcar and it looks really good to my eyes.

Just thinking about the 2021 OGF Club Car Caboose project. This project was full of challenges, but it sure came out very well. I keep mine on a table right next to my desk in our office. I get to look at it several times a day. And the good news, we delivered it months ahead of schedule thanks to Harry Hieke. 2021 does not start for another day and our members had it before the ball drops. Time to think of next year. The first project up is our OGF Engine # 2022 that should arrive well before the end of next year. Then there is the OGF Club Car for 2022 that we also intend to deliver before the start of the year. Lots of good things to look forward to. 2022 OGF Club Car Project (announced next year)

Kind of a never ending process with the lead times as far out as they are. The engine will be interesting with the quantity that is required. Has any thought been given to the Forum buying 2-3 extra engines that can be sold to members in the next few years?
Having an engine is an inducement to buy cars... the question of, “What will pull the train,” has been answered.
If engines are not available, the lack may be a deterrent to new members buying cars as they are introduced.
How many cars will make up a train?

"Great ad in Classic Toy Trains that came today. Looks like another first for a train forum. "Thanks Bill, it is a wonderful ad indeed. This ad does a whole lot more for us in addition to help sell engines. Some forums (can you believe this ) actually block any mention of the OGF on their platforms. Have to ask yourself what in the world are they afraid of. In any event, their BIG DELETE BUTTON does not work very well over at Classic Toy Trains so more and more folks will know about us by virtue of this ad. We are having a record month with new members so this should help us grow.

Excellent point, Bill. But not to worry, this subject came up early on when our 2021 OGF Engine Project Team began it's discussions. We have a solution to this issue for the foreseeable future without committing one cent of our treasury (Wood will be very happy about this). It is a delicate balance given the fact that we are member financed and we must be very prudent with OGF funds (and believe me, we are).

Tom, we have you down for one of these beauties for sure. You having one is really a big deal. Your fabulous Train Museum & Layout is a big draw among model train fans. Having the OGF engine # 2022 making the rounds around the layout will attract a lot of attention and questions. What a terrific way to promote the OGF.

"How many cars will make up a train?"
As long as the OGF members want them, we will continue this series. Already started to work on the 2022 OGF Club Car. It takes months in the planning stage when working with suppliers. We want the 2022 Club Car available to our members before next Christmas. Stay tuned.
