Got it yesterday and ran it today. Attractive and runs well. If you enlarge the picture you will see a thumb tack coupler release mechanism. I saw that on Country Joe's but not the others. Do you have a thumb tack?

Wood, that’s interesting. Mine doesn’t have one. Maybe there is a batch made in a particular year that had the thumb tacks.

Do you have a thumb tack? No thumb tack uncoupler, but I don't have lanterns either. And the roof detail on mine is different, mine has a raised platform for walking.

Well, we do have some variations. When we started this Club Car thread. Lionel needed a minimum of 60 orders. We were unable to get that and we decided to order this car from dealers and have Harry modify it. Brian spent weeks finding these cars from dealers. Multiple calls and he finally gathered the 21 cars we needed. That's is why some of the boxes are sketchy and obviously some of the cars were different runs with different details. I have to give a lot of credit to PTC for putting this all together. My car is perfect and I love it. Maybe I wish I had that walking platform, but....

Do you have a thumb tack? I noticed that mine has the thumbtack coupler release but it doesn't have marker lights. I wonder how many variations there are of the 21 2021 club car? My car is very nicely detailed, I am very happy with it, and I'm kind of pleased that it's a bit different than most of the other cars. I wonder if some day in the distant future a collector will be trying hard to collect all the variations of the 2021 OGF Club Car.

Joe, no idea as to the variations. I worked indigently to find the basic MTH Premier Extended Window cabooses that was no easy task. Some dealers said "forget about this". Not me, so I plugged until I got them all. They were shipped directly to Harry, so he would be the only one who would know about variations. At this point, I am sure he doesn't remember.
I am happy this project is done and it is now onto the OGF Engine Project.

Received mine today. Thanks to all who made this happen! It will ride this Holiday Season behind my Marx 999. Okay so it could over power the 999 but who cares? I know I do not. Train ON friends, Train ON

Train ON friends, Train ON I agree Jim. These are toy trains and meant to be fun. I am currently running my caboose behind a non-scale LionChief Plus Hudson and undersized Lionel freight cars and it looks great to me.

My comments about the differences were not meant to be a rebuke. It's just the engineer in me that spotted a difference and was bringing it to everyone's attention.
