I follow Brent Harris on YouTube. He uses a lot of Clever Models paper structures. I have never seen them in person but they look great in his videos.

That settles it, I'm in - the buildings have just the character I'm looking for. They also have some buildings that fit my Canadian theme like the enclosed water tower and a CNR-style speeder shed.
