Ok ... you're making it very difficult for me to hold off on buying train items!

Nice fire truck. Now we need to see that new firehouse.

Hey, Mark. I like trains and I like fire engines. However, I would not buy this for the simple reason that the fire engine is labeled as a “Ladder” when it clearly is not.

I am sure paint can cover ladder 4. Also. no emergency lights or siren.

Received my order. Fire trucks are definitely too, too small. I will have to put them on the club's S layout. Disappointing.

Yeah, that’s too small.

Nice concept. I prefer to model them the way they were shipped on real railroads. I have the end door boxcar and the fire engines to put inside. Not as interesting, visually, but it would make a cool scene unloading one on my future layout... Tom

Excellent Tom Thanks for the super idea for a layout focal point. I had pondered a long time about how to properly display a boxcar of that type.

BTW. Love the pictures!

The firetruck is definitely undersized but I consider this a toy train item that isn't meant to be scale sized. I think that as a toy train car it's fine. I would run it on my layout along with my Lionel flat car with an S scale sized trailer load.
