I'm lucky enough to be working. Much of high tech has become enablers for WFH, my company included. So I am working from home. I do miss the social aspect of being in the office. Collaborating virtually is very tiring.
I feel terrible for all of those people in the country and around the world who are out of work. I sure hope we get back to some semblance of normalcy in the not too distant future.

I am on LTD until September. Then I am retiring. Used to being at home. Cheryl is working from home and attending ZOOM meetings daily or as required at least until the end of June. She is very seriously looking at retiring this year as well.
Take Care Everybody,
Gary.

Anne and I are both retired so there is no economic impact on us. She is the VP of our HOA so she's very busy. Our normal activities are mostly suspended but we can live with it. Thank God for the OGF, my layout, the DVR and an evening bike ride. I've done some projects around the house as well. I really miss my breakfast group and Vero Beach Model Railroaders get togethers.

I still go to work everyday, I should be ok (from what I've been told) but that could change . We already home school so schools being closed isn't an issue for us. My only issue is getting a haircut .

I got a haircut from my wife. I actually like it. Problem, she said I owed her $12.00. But when I offered to cut hers instead, she declined.

I'm a tradesman at a local university and somehow they deemed me essential. ( probably because it's not a contract year ) So we are working 1/2 crews and every other week. I retire in a year so I look at it as retirement training. Now I really can't wait...

Semi remote. Office work is done at home. Field work is still done in the field.

Our company is closed. We are doing curbside takeout through the restaurant so my sons go in everyday. Kathy and I go in every Monday and meet with the boys to plan our escape from this disaster. I am home through the rest of the week but have been working on the Covid-19 disaster loan and the Payroll Protection Program. The good news is we were accepted into both programs. That means you will be paying for our survival. (Sorry, if anyone wants to bowl free, let me know.) The paperwork is daunting.
Our governor is doing a great job, that's the good news, the bad is this will be lasting a while longer. Phase 1 may start May 8th but it will not include us. The governor will keep track of Phase 1 and hopefully we will reopen in Phase 2 which will be around May 22nd. Phase 2 will not allow us to operate at capacity. It we are successful with Phase 2 we move into the next phase with larger capacity but not full. Phase 3 will be more open and if all goes well over the next 48 days we will be completely open. That puts us into mid June and means we will have survived 3+ months of being closed or operating with our hands tied behind our back.
I relate all this information because, if you own your own company there are no gimmies in a closed business, and a lot of my time is working to find solutions for our cash flow.
Every night I head down to the train cave and work a little or simply run the trains. I have finished the dimensional consist and hope to post a video soon.

We are retired, 21 years now, so we are home.My wife is a good cook but gets tired of her own cooking. She has been cutting my hair for 30 years since my barber died. Not too hard of a job since I am mostly bald but that is only the last 15 years.

My job is considered essential. I drive into work and from work every day like normal. I don't have a far drive but fewer cars and no buses on the road has been nice. I usually get stopped by a train in the morning at a Railroad crossing but I can't recall the last time that happened!
I work in a medical clinic and a lot has changed since the out break. The clinic is empty of patients as most all appointments are done via teleconference. Testing for COVID-19 is done outside the clinic as patients drive their car up underneath a tent and wait inside their car to be tested.
I stay very busy monitoring systems and resolve everyday technical issues. Have to wear surgical mask in the office every day. The masks get hot to wear and my glasses fog up often. It's nice to get a breath of fresh air every now and then! Most of the office staff is working from home but those that are left in office are not allowed to eat lunch together and have to leave the building to eat lunch. Everyone is spread apart and some have been moved to other desks to keep social distancing. We all get our temperature taken by a nurse in the morning and after lunch to make sure we are not getting sick.

I’m considered essential, and like John I work at home, but do site visits when necessary. I feel fortunate that I’m still working.

I was supposed to be working today. Had dry cough and shortness of breath most of yesterday. My manager instructed ... I mean demanded I stay home. Return to work on Monday is now questionable. Thankfully the company is paying my wages today and I didn't need to use a sick day.
