I changed my mind based upon Forrest comments. I forgot about the GCT and concentrated on the other buildings (how could I).
Here is the VERY FAVORITE ONE.

Brian, I think that is the right choice. That has to be my favorite model train building as well. How much do you want for it? LOL, don't worry, I know it isn't for sale!

Harry could build one for you. Someday. My smaller layout wont accommodate larger buildings. I've got 8 years of college payments in front of me. The larger layout dream will be in a holding pattern for most of that time.

These buildings look fantastic. Thanks everyone for posting them.
We are not far enough along yet to post any pictures. Some buildings are out to satisfy the kids who asked why there were no buildings but none ready for prime time.

Banff Springs Hotel. This building is made out of the 1960s American Skyline kits, made by Elgo. I was able to get multiple kits from eBay. It is my favorite because I spent a year building, it filled a space on my layout perfectly and it is an historically accurate Grand Railroad Hotel built in 1888 by the Canadian Pacific Railroad. It is an eye catcher and my guests are always drawn close up to view. Wood, that entire scene is just stunning. I would like to summer there if I could. Thank you Adam. I have friends in Alberta and we plan on visiting after the BS virus is finished. We will visit and i'll take lot of pictures.

My favorite building:
MY HOUSE!!! LOL!!!
This is my real house:
And this is the MTH Version:
You have to decorate for Christmas and share pictures. It is a great rendition of your home. I love how we all have scenes that represent things and events in our own lives. A little story telling in every layout. Adam that would be a great post. "Tell us the personal story captured in your scene."

But, I'll pict this trailer. It's a Woodland Scenics model and has a printed interior. You can see the TV in the living area through the window and it flickers like it's actually on. It's a really cool effect and set it apart from other buildings that don't do that. I have commented on that trailer rig multiple times. Great choice Joe, I love it.

This is a RiverLeaf kit of a flatiron building and I modeled an actual flatiron building, the Breakthrough Theater, here in town located right by the tracks. I created floors for the building and detailed it with gas and electric connections, etc. Andre produced canopies for me to use that really top it off. This is the best i have ever done on a kit. As mentioned in the layout tour video, I never did another kit after this. Fab, That is a TERRIFIC build. Excellent detailed work. I don't blame you for not building another. You hit the top.
