There's some really impressive cabeese here. In that department, I have very few and what I do have were all got to run behind a particular engine. These are almost all of them. The first one must be the favorite because I have two for different steamers. This is a K-Line special commemorating the UP steam program: This is another K-Line, an SP extended vision model made years ago for the Western Depot, which runs behind an AC-12: And one Lionel model, which goes behind a Warbonnet AC-6000: That K-LINE U.P. Caboose is a SPECIAL one!! Gary.

Here is one of my favorites, but its not mine. This caboose is part of my wife's collection, she does let me run it once in a while. Your wife has good taste! Adam, I stand around at the train shows and run my mouth, she on the other hand starts checking the tables, making some deals and brings home the good stuff.

You've got a good wife. My wife does the same. She claims not to be interested in trains, but she bought as much at Amherst as I did, of course she did give those items to me. Amherst was my Christmas present.

Yes Laz, your layout gives a different meaning to the term "Nice Caboose!"

Here is my favorite. It’s made by O Line Productions, a company I know little about (are they even still around?). Saw it on TrainWorld a while back for a good price and jumped at it. It smokes nicely in a wafting/passive way and has great detail. It can do TMCC/DCS but it’s set to run in conventional on my layout. This is pretty old news as well as late in this thread, but since you asked, wasn't "O-Line Reproductions" the brand name used by a major distributor who got stuck with or bought up a quantity of stock that was originally made for RMT but not shipped to them because of a financial issue? I remember that OLR came out with packaging for what it sold that looked distinctly like K-Line - as did some of RMT's packaging.
Later on, RMT kept coming back to life but never offered its full range of products again. I don't think OLR ever made or sold SuperSnap track, which itself was based on K-Line's old track system. If they had I'd have grabbed some. Most of the track I have apart from FasTrak (which I don't rate very highly) I got from RMT. In fact I am not sure that OLR ever manufactured anything as opposed to selling off stock.
Anyway, that is a nice caboose. RMT did offer some nice products. Lucky find!

Speaking of cabeese......if interest, I'll put it in buy/sell...but does anybody need a 9289 C&NW N5C style caboose? Borrowed this from evilbait: Mine is not bad. Bought it when I got a CNW steamer, which I returned, what over 30 years ago. Paint on frame/floor isn't really nice, shell looks good, has markers, light, window insert, no nicks or scratches.

Being a Pennsy fan - I have an affliction with N5c caboose and a minor one with the extended vision ones.
I did unearth a bunch of my cabeese, I'll see if I can get more pictures of them when I get to the layout.
