As far as the materials used, I used rattlecan paint by Tru-Color boxcar red and some Scalecoat II boxcar red #3.
The Union Pacific car was decaled using a Highball Graphics set. Extremely nice decals, but a bit tricky to work with.
The other three cars were done using K-4 decals. They are nice decals and easy to work with. They sell many different sets in all scales…

Another car I painted and decaled. It is a MTH 19th century car I stripped and detailed before painting. I am usually not a big fan of billboard cars, but this one was drab enough for my liking. This car was painted with Tamiya dark green paint and lettered with a K-4 decal set… Tom
