Honestly, I used to connect with the democratic party until they turn their backs on the common working men and women trying to make an honest living and raise a family. The last straw was the police, firefighters and our military. I will be up for a Trump locomotive...

Ok I must be clueless but what truly nasty comments??? Reread posts two and three . . . Still don't see a issue, someone needs to relax and run their trains.
Nothing in the rules for the forum says you have to read a thread/post or even respond. Don't like something move on.

The real shame is how politics controls our daily lives. Those of us old enough remember when politics was 10% of our routine.
The beginning of the end of us was the start of 24 hour news. We got 1 hour of real news we needed and 23 hours of garbage.
Now we focus on the garbage and are at each other's throats with us vs them daily.
Remember a time when we didn't care about someones political persuasion and could be friendly and find other things to talk about?

$554 Trump $499 Harris Interesting how they are the same loco, but with a different price? I have the 2020 MTH Premeir Trump ES44. It’s fun to run, and have. I paid $510 to Mr. Muffins for the engine and caboose back in June 2020. Normally, I would buy two matching powered diesels as I like to pull long trains, but putting another $600 into it is a hefty price for something that could be a “Dewey Wins” newspaper in early November. I will abstain. Plus, the 2020 ES44 looks and runs great lashed up with the OGF MTH Premier ES44. I run them together all the time. Not the same loco. 2 different styles/models. One is an ES44AC and the other is an AC6000. Stu

I have never seen such violence in politics. I am ex-military conservative and my neighbor is Liberal and we are the best of buds. I fear the only way our great nation unites is if we are attacked by a foreign country again.

Wholeheartedly agree. This forum is proudly tolerant of discussions that would quickly get you banned elsewhere, which is generally a good thing IMHO, but devolving discussion into nasty-spirited calumny achieves little other that the would-be troll's personal satisfaction. I've been biting my tongue after some of the truly nasty comments made so far, but if some insist on initiating a political flame war here, so be it. Knock it off, or expect responses in kind . . . and you might want to contemplate the relative state of the ammo supplies available first before continuing to lob verbal mortar shells. Ok I must be clueless but what truly nasty comments??? Politics I believe what he was try to convey as that's where it would go to. But back to original question for me is neither. Mainly because I don't care for either and new trains to me are to expensive, I like my secondary market.

I also remember when one vote for the one that seemed to have your best interest in hand not necessary because of which party. Today most people vote for party not what the candidate is putting out. When we were getting the 10% we also didn't have making up crap about the other party or digging up the worst so they could win. We seemed to have lost the morals we were taught back then. Internet and 24 hrs news to me is the blame. I'm not this good with computers but even before AI you had those who could make it look real and put a person in a bad situation.

Or worse... just take them out! After you convict them of as many felonies you can think of. As soon as you bring race, gender, and foreign policies into the mix you have made the whole country emotionally divided. Honestly, I just want a president that has policies that address the mess we are going through right now. I could care a less if he/ she was purple, or a man / women. I just need someone that is connected with reality and guide us in the right direction. Thank God for having trains to run and building a new layout... it keeps me more sane.

I can only imagine what the crew talk/tower radio transmissions dialogue would be like. Endless racist tropes; non-sensical muttering; the smell of schitzenpants; like Plumpf, the engine wouldn't be useful since Plumpf also does nothing! Oh, and the WHINE of the dialogue to go along with the cheese cars. Cant make this stuff up....lol

I could envision a see saw debate car with Trump and Harris on either end? Maybe a bank donation car for your favorite president. An aquarium car with the shredded court case documents? How about petroleum car with dollar signs all over it? Immigrants running around the gondola car with a boarder guard chasing them? Oh boy you could have some fun with this one.... Remember this is all in jest you just cannot make this stuff up!

Wait! Where’s the RFK Jr. locomotive?! And Jill Stein? We must be fair! They're in a train wreak scenario, on a dead end siding . . .

There was a time when humour was what it was meant for, laughing and enjoying a good joke. One of the best political person as well as his family enjoyed the humour that these albums brought. These are Toy Trains, enjoy the humour of them.
