An O gauge train that will mow your lawn and shovel your snow? Seriously my bet is on a new engine set.

Interesting. Any speculations? Not that I have seen yet. My guess is maybe a single diesel like a gp7,gp30. Of course my guesses are never right, that's why I don't play the lottery. Dave

Guess Menards could not wait, O72 remote switches for $59.00 is a bargain imo.
Nice job Menards!!

Since they said it would be tomorrow, I wonder if they have something else up their sleave. We will see.

Hmmm. I don't use tubular track any more but I think it's interesting that they have implemented a non-derailing feature without the need for insulating pins - the blurb Adam posted says that the switches come pre-insulated.

This “might” have me switch to tubular track. I have to think about this.

Interestingly... Menards is requesting/limiting only ONE turnout each (i.e., left-hand/right-hand) per order. Promotional material indicates this is so the maximum number of buyers get a chance to purchase them. But it could also indicate just a limited number are available at this time -- without actually saying that. Marketeers always have their way of spinning information. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how these products stack up.
