Well I will take a stab at a pair and see what happens. IMO the extension cord for the manual switch is a nice touch.

Not too bad! Wonder why they didn't do 0-31 switches as they are
much more popular and people use more 0-31 track. I like the idea
of the new design not needing insulator pins due to the re-location
of the insulated rail for the non-derailing feature.
The "guts" must be an all new design inside as the motor mechanism
is fixed and cannot be "flipped/swapped" from side to side like the
Lionel ones for layout versatility.
Not really sure how that delicate and small computer plug and light
weight supply wires will hold up with repeated use and age. Should
have kept the old binding posts. Easier to wire up and maintain.
And no fixed voltage plug to run the switches off of accessory power?
Controllers are a little strange and no lit position indicators. They are
supposed to look like miniature steam locos?
Maybe after these "beta" versions come out and Menard's gets some
feedback there will be changes?
