It seems Lionel and to a certain extent MTH and Atlas ignore New England roads when it comes to rolling stock. Yeah you get your B&M, and your NH but how about Rutland, B&A, Maine Central, Central Vermont, others. You guys probably already know this but Check out Public Delivery Track. They have a good bit of New England and Canadian roads in stock or for preorder and some custom runs too. Some nice older Weaver stuff too. Just do a search on the website for your favorite road. Have most of that already. MTH RS1 on backorder.

Thank Gary. I am skeptical of Railking locomotives. I do have the MTH Delaware Otsego System RS-3 as well as the Battenkill version, both from EZ catch train shop. They are sharply decorated and run well, but they look short height wise compared to my scale sized rolling stock. I have them on display and while I am glad that I have them, I probably won't purchase any more Railking going forward. Perhaps there will some scale New England or Canadian trains in the next Lionel catalog.

The roof on the RailKing RS-3 is definitely "squished", but the RailKing RS-1 is a scale model. It compares very well to the Atlas RS-1. I have no idea why MTH decided to squish the RS-3, unless they wanted that model to match the height of RailKing rolling stock.

Missing some details which I'm going to remedy. Going to get fixed pilots and kadee couplers. Photo Beth used is the AtlasO version.

I always enjoy a new catalog. Will always be a Lionel fan, but they have priced me out of their buying market.

The one thing for sure I do know that will be in the V2 catalog will be 5 or 10 more of the CSX heritages. With the first 5 out in V1, their have been 10 more real ones out so Lionel should go with 10 more in this V2 catalog. I have the first 5 on order. I actually saw all those 5 in real life.
